Bring your company and staff into compliance!

The EPA and Kansas state requirements mandate that all persons who work on pre-1978 houses, schools, and daycares, receive accredited LSWP/RRP training before the work begins. This is required for any construction-related project that disturbs lead-based paint. The EPA and State monetary and imprisonment penalties for non-compliance are extensive! All persons are required to be licensed/certified by the EPA or the appropriate State agency where the work is occurring.

The class is being taught by Larry Hopkins, President of BEC (Baker Environmental Consulting). He is the BEC Training Manager for EPA (RRP/LSWP Initial and Refresher Courses) and the states of Kansas and Missouri providing training, testing, and consulting for residential and commercial clients throughout the midwest.

If you have any questions, please email:  deb@bakerenvironmental.com or call Debora at Baker Environmental Consulting at 913-541-0220 or KBIG at 877-266-4540.

The last big “push” for this training was 5 years ago, and the certification only lasts for 5 years – which not everyone is aware of.  Also, all participants in the RRP Refresher Class must provide a copy of their Initial Class certificate – something else to be mindful of…

Register early – seats are limited!
